LS Academic Resource Center
TCA’s Lower School Academic Resource Center Program is designed to equip students with appropriate strategies and skills to achieve satisfactory progress at grade level expectations within the established TCA curriculum. The ARC creates a positive and accepting environment that minimizes distractions and frustrations for learning through daily supervision as well as interfaces with teachers and parents on behalf of students to monitor academic progress.
To be considered for acceptance in the Lower School Academic Resource Center, each student must have a complete battery of psycho-educational testing by a qualified educational diagnostician or psychologist. A specific diagnosis of a learning disability, including Attention Deficit Disorder and/or a Language Processing disorder, is required for a student’s admission to the Academic Resource Center.
