TCA Discover Week provides students with creative, hands-on experiences both on and off campus,
enriching their academic development and extending learning beyond the traditional classroom.
Through a wide range of opportunities — including on-campus courses, service projects,
professional internships and travel experiences — students explore new passions, interests and
skills that support their personal and academic growth.
ON CAMPUS
Discover Week on-site courses enrich both our students’ educational experience and our school’s curriculum. This unique, fun program allows students to explore personal interests, integrate multiple disciplines and expand their perspectives beyond the traditional classroom setting.
INTERNSHIPS
Juniors and seniors can gain valuable hands-on experience and real-world insights through Discover Week internships in the DFW area. These opportunities will allow students to explore career interests and build professional skills. From healthcare and technology to business and creative arts, these internships will be offered in a diverse range of fields.
TRAVEL EXPERIENCES
The 2026 Discover Week international trips included a Europe trip and Latin America trip. Trip destinations will rotate each year, so students will have the ability to visit different locations over the course of their time in the Upper School.
LOCAL SERVICE
On-campus classes may also include off-campus field trips or local service projects. The 2026 local service trips included working at Bonton Farms, Minnie's Food Panty and more!
