Tuition

TCA does accept Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) funds. You will be asked on the application if you plan to apply to receive these funds. Please be advised that TCA requires parents/guardians to notify the TCA Business Office if your family receives TEFA funds and the amount you have been awarded. This will be further addressed in the enrollment contract should your child(ren) be accepted to TCA.

Student Tuition Aid is awarded strictly according to financial need. Families that wish to apply for Student Tuition Aid must also apply for TEFA funds. If you would like to apply for aid, please CLICK HERE. 

Trinity Christian Academy (TCA) has financial and contractual arrangements with faculty, staff, vendors, etc., which are made the spring prior to each school year. These obligations make it mandatory that we require families to commit financially for the entire school year in February of the preceding year. Each family that signs an enrollment contract commits at that time to be responsible for the full amount of the tuition and fees** for that student, even if families desire to pay the tuition and fees over months’ time. Since payments are made beginning March 1, each student’s tuition and fees are 60 percent paid by the first day of school in August.

While we understand there may be situations that arise that require a student to withdraw voluntarily from TCA, in order for TCA to meet its contractual obligations, the refund policy is very narrow. Please consider this policy prior to accepting your enrollment or re-enrollment agreement as TCA will hold you responsible for compliance with this policy.

Exceptions to Refund Policy

Any requests for refunds outside the above timelines must be appealed to the Head of School. Please be aware that rarely are exceptions granted. In the rare instance an exception is granted, it will be for extreme extenuating circumstances. A few possible examples include:

• family or student is required to move more than 80 miles from the TCA campus
• death of student or one custodial parent
• disability of one custodial parent

No portion of the tuition and fees shall be refunded for a student who either is dismissed or withdraws for disciplinary or academic reasons. Each student’s place is independent. Tuition and fees cannot be transferred from one student to another. Application, admission, technology or re-enrollment fees shall not be refunded. Dining fees may be refunded on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Chief Financial Officer if the dining services have not been delivered.
