My work represents the beauty of small details in a bigger picture. The organic shapes and patterns displayed are individually simple shapes but when combined create an environment one can easily be lost in. Individually areas and shapes look calming and relaxing, but the combination of these creates an intensity. Looking at the work overall, it overwhelms, captivating the viewer to analyze the different details. The bright colors together are very intense, but the certain color families ease this intensity. The bedazzling of some parts represents how sometimes to see another side to something, it needs to be looked at differently. It draws the eye to a different focus rather than the complicated patterns. The stones reflect the light differently when viewing from other points of view, showcasing a different beauty of the work, contrasting how it was originally viewed.
