Lower School
Lower School art is an introduction to creative art play. At these lower levels, fine motor skills, exploration of art materials and the creation of an object are encouraged. Students are taught to delve into the full process of art-making which includes historical context, color theory and design, as well as pushing a work to completion.
PreK through fourth-grade student work is celebrated and displayed throughout the halls of the Lower School. Select work is highlighted in a special PreK-12 exhibit in the Trinity Art Gallery (TAG) during the school year.
