Upper School

Upper School art introduces a variety of traditional and exploratory processes which build upon a strong foundation of art and design skills. Students are encouraged to merge technical skills with their innovative ideas and concepts. The curriculum includes a beginner, honors and an AP track. Courses include eMedia, ePhoto, design trends, honors studio art, digital art, electronic collage, video animation, drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, video documentary, sculpture, 3D mixed media and ceramics.

Throughout the year, students are challenged to respond and interact to professional and peer work that is on display in the Trinity Art Gallery (TAG) and the broader DFW area. We highly encourage our students to enter into local and national competitions and to learn the full process of preparing work for display.
