Spring Alumni Weekend 2018

We are excited to announce our first annual Spring Alumni Weekend! ALL ALUMNI are invited so mark your calendar now to join us for a weekend of fun and fellowship.
Reunions years: 1972, 1973, 1977 ,1978, 1982, 1983, 1987, 1988, 1992, 1993, 1997, 1998, 2002, 2003, 2007, 2008, 2012 and 2013. 
Friday, April 27 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Varsity Baseball game TCA vs. Parish Episcopal School 4:30 p.m.
  • Tailgate including a family cookout, tours of the school, activities for the kids in the parking lot next to the Baseball stadium
Saturday, April 28 from 7 to 10:00 p.m.
  • Alumni party focusing on reunion years at the Westin Galleria but all alumni are invited
  • Featuring The Top Band
  • Heavy hors d'oeuvres
  • Adults only
Sunday, April 29 at 2 p.m. 
  • Upper School Performing Arts production of Little Women
  • Children are welcome for this event
Tickets are $50 per person for all three events and young alumni tickets are $35 (graduates of 2012-2017). Children are welcome at the Friday and Sunday events at no additional cost. Register online.

Alumni Parent Brunch

For parents of the following reunion years: 1972, 1973, 1977 ,1978, 1982, 1983, 1987, 1988, 1992, 1993, 1997, 1998, 2002, 2003, 2007, 2008, 2012 and 2013. 
When: Saturday, April 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Where: Bent Tree Country Club
$25 per person for brunch buffet
Please RSVP by April 20 by paying online or sending a check. Your payment secures your seat at the brunch as seating is limited.

  • Why did we move the reunions to the spring?

    • After researching this option, the Alumni Association found that most other private schools in the DFW area hold Spring Alumni Weekends and have had great success hosting one party for all reunions every year.

    • We have heard over the years that:
    - It is a burden for class agents and others to plan the reunions.
    - Costs for the reunions were inconsistent.
    - Sometimes reunions did not actually happen.

    • As a result, the Alumni Association has stepped in to plan a weekend of events for our alumni with one low ticket price for all three events.
    - Baseball game and tailgate on Friday
     - Adult only all alumni party at the Westin Galleria highlighting reunion years on Saturday
    - Upper School drama production on Sunday
    • How will reunion years be recognized at the Spring Alumni Weekend?

      Each reunion year will have a designated area at the tailgate and at the Westin party. We realize this first year includes many reunion years, but we hope you will enjoy seeing both your own classmates and other alumni as well. Plus, you will get to enjoy great music, food and activities during the weekend with your classmates. 
    • Why sixteen reunions?

      Since this is the first Spring Alumni Weekend, and we are moving reunions from the fall to the spring, it affects two years of reunions - sixteen classes in total. Next year, the Saturday night event will highlight eight reunion classes. 
    • Will we still have an alumni event in the fall at Homecoming?

      Yes. We will still have the alumni tent and dinner in the fall at the Homecoming football game. All alumni are invited to this event. 
    • Will we have individual gatherings for each reunion year?

      You will have time Friday night after the tailgate or Saturday during the day to get together with others in you class if you wish to plan a private time with your classmates. The Alumni Association has planned the all-inclusive events for everyone to attend, but you are welcome to plan something individually for your class.     • Can I just pay to attend the Westin Party?

      We made every effort to make the tickets affordable for all the events combined as we do not want cost to keep any alumni from attending. We are also offering a young alumni ticket for those students just graduating from college and starting their careers. However, whether you attend only one event or all three, the price is the same. We researched the price to keep it below the costs of most high school reunions in the Dallas area. 
    • Do I have to buy a ticket for my child?

      Your children are invited to attend the Friday and Sunday events at no extra cost! When you go online to register, the registration form will ask about your children. There is a section to list them so that we can include them in the headcount for Friday’s meal and reserve them a seat at the play. 
    • Can you give me more details about the Saturday night party?

      Saturday night is an adult only party at the Westin Galleria. The attire will be dressy casual. The event includes a live band highlighting music from each of the reunion years. Heavy hors d’oevres will be served. Rooms are available at a discounted rate for this event, please contact the Westin Galleria directly for more information at 972 934-9494.
