National Merit Recognition

This year TCA has several students who are being recognized because of their scores on the PSAT during their junior year. Please join us in congratulating the following students for this achievement.
National Merit Semifinalists:
1.6 Million students in more than 22,000 high schools entered the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2015 PSAT. The 16,000 semifinalists included are the highest scoring entrants in each state and represent less than 1 percent of each state's high school seniors. They have qualified to continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships to be awarded in the spring of 2017. TCA's National Merit Semifinalists are:

National Merit Commended:
Out of the 1.6 million students who participated as juniors in the National Merit Scholarship Competition, 34,000 Commended students throughout the nation are recognized for their exceptional academic promise. They place among the top five percent of juniors who entered the competition by taking the 2015 PSAT. TCA's National Merit Commended students are:

National Hispanic Recognition Program:
Students honored in the NHRP have scored in the top 2.5 percent amount all Hispanic and Latino test-takers in our region. TCA's National Hispanic Recogized Student is:
