Trojanettes Bring Home the Hardware!

The Trojanettes competed this past Saturday at American Dance and Drill Team’s regional competition in Duncanville, where they won many awards. The officers, Alyson O’Shea and Caroline Tate, placed second overall in their division. They took home a sweepstakes award for receiving 90’s on all of their routines from all of the judges. The girls also won a bronze overall award for their precision on all of their routines and a judges award for their contemporary routine.

The team took home third place overall in its division. The girls won the Gussie Nell Davis sweepstakes award for receiving a 93 or higher on all four of their routines from every judge. The team also won the judges awards for all four routines that were entered.

The Trojanettes took home Division 1 awards from all eight solos that they entered. The soloists were: Alyson O’Shea, Caroline Tate, Alayna Weyandt, Gracie Massinger, Georgia Leeds, Victoria Dahncke, Hannah Little and Claire Andrews. Congratulations, girls and Coach Julie Gossett!
