School Life

TCA Missions

Through life experiences, service and mission opportunities and mentoring programs, TCA provides its students with the ability to lead and serve every day. From holding doors as a line leader in Lower School to traveling locally or globally to bless others, all students discover that to lead well is to serve well in Christ’s name.

All-School Canned Food Drive

Each year the TCA All-School Canned Food Drive takes place from late November to early December. This sophomore class mission project benefits the Rhoads Terrace/Exline Housing Project.

Food donations are collected each day during carpool by students and parents, and through collection boxes located around campus. The generocity of those who donate makes a huge difference in lives of those who benefit from these donations.

Operation Christmas Child

Take an ordinary shoebox, fill it with toys and other presents, and you have an extraordinary gift for a child in need of joy and hope. The fourth-grade mission project, Operation Christmas Child, focuses on sharing the love of Christ with a child who may not receive any other Christmas gifts. These gift-filled boxes are delivered to children in war-torn and famine-stricken countries by Samaritan’s Purse led by Franklin Graham.

This annual mission project is a wonderful opportunity for TCA families to experience a hands-on project that reflects the true meaning of Christmas - God’s greatest gift, Jesus Christ.
