Trinity Christian Academy (TCA) is committed to respecting your privacy and protecting any personal information you share with us and has created this policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy. This Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (Policy) describes the information that TCA collects through our website at www.trinitychristian.org. (Site), what is done with the information collected and to whom the information may be disseminated. All of the information that we collect from you is subject to this Policy. You acknowledge that this Policy is part of the terms of service and you agree that using this Site signifies your assent to TCA’s Policy. TCA reserves the right to change the terms of service, including this Policy at any time, without advanced notice. If we decide to change this Policy, we will post the changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.

Use of Personal Information
We do not collect any personal information about you when you visit our Site, unless you voluntarily provide it by sending us an e-mail, participating in a survey, or completing an on-line form. Personal information submitted will not be transferred to any non-affiliated third parties unless otherwise stated at the time of collection. When you submit personally identifiable information, it is used only for the purpose stated at the time of collection.

In the case of a student’s personal information, TCA will seek the consent from the student and/or parent depending on the circumstances. We may be required by applicable law, subpoena, court order or other legal process to disclose the personal information you provide us or that we gather from your use of our website, and it is our policy to comply with any such requirements.

Security
Our Site takes every precaution to protect our users' personal information. Whenever users submit personal information (such as contact info or credit card info) via online forms, registration, or online purchase, upon submission that information is encrypted via the highest level of SSL (Secured Sockets Layer) available.  Servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment. Under no circumstances are credit card numbers permanently stored on our website servers.

Terms and Conditions of Use of Site
Unless otherwise specified, our Site is for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information or service obtained from our Site.  Harassment in any manner or form on the Site, including via e-mail, blogs, text messages or by obscene or abusive language is strictly forbidden. You may not upload to, distribute or otherwise publish through the Site any contact which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy rights, abusive, illegal or otherwise objectionable, or which may constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party or otherwise give rise to liability or violate any law. You may not upload commercial content on the Site or use the Site to solicit others to join or become members of any other commercial online service or social organization.
 
Opt-Out or Change Your Contact Information
Our Site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications by unsubscribing from our email list. Users with logins may choose to receive only specific communications or none at all. You may also update your contact information previously provided to us by logging in to the website. You cannot remove yourself from our database, but you can prevent unwanted communication.
 
Non-secured Communications
Posts to discussion forums, discussion boards, comments to blogs, and Alumni Class Notes are viewable by other users. When these areas are not in a password protected area, they may be viewable by the general public.  Please be aware of this when posting personal information in these areas.
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance 
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).  We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age without parental consent. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older. 
 
Governing Law

This Policy and the use of this Site are governed by laws of the State of Texas and applicable Federal Law. Any dispute arising out of or concerning this Policy shall be settled by biblically based mediation.  If resolution of the dispute does not result from mediation facilitated by a professional Christian dispute counselor selected by TCA, the matter shall then be submitted to arbitration at the Institute for Christian Conciliation, 5550 Tech Center Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80919; (719) 358-4900. By using this Site, you consent to this jurisdiction and venue as appropriate for the resolution of disputes concerning this Policy.

If we decide to change our Policy, we will post those changes on this page. Your continued use of this site after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
