TCA Traditions

Little Trojan Night

Little Trojan Nights are held year-round during each varsity sport season, giving Lower School students special recognition. Girls who attended Cheer and Pom camps over the summer put on special performances at the Little Trojan Pep Rally and football game in the fall. 

Adopt a Senior

Our Lower School classes have the opportunity to adopt a senior on a Varsity sports team. Their senior will visit them multiple times throughout the year and the littles love to cheer them on all year long!
 

Grandparents Day

Our Lower School students, PreK-4, invite their grandparents or special friends to join them for a school day. This is one of our most beloved traditions for our families. 
 

Lower School Pen Pals

Every Kindergartener is given a Third Grade Pen Pal. These special relationships are fostered as the pairs participate in bonding events during the year. 

 

House Lip Sync Contest

At the start of Middle School, our students are assigned one of four houses: Honor, Wisdom, Justice or Courage. Named after our Alma Mater, these houses provide mentorship and discipleship. The Lip Sync battle is an annual competition where students can represent their house and deepen their relationships with new friends.
 

Eighth Grade Wilderness Trip

Eighth-grade students take a wilderness trip to conclude their time in middle school. Alongside Upper School counselors and faculty, they hike, canoe and rappel. Through this experience, relationship grow as they learn to rely on each other and the Lord.
 

Sixth Grade Camp Week

Sixth-graders are led by these Upper School students and faculty at the end of May on a trip to camp with their class. These grade-level trips Middle School students together to form new friends and grow closer to Christ. 
 

Senior Banquet

The Senior Banquet is held near the end of the school year. Each senior is celebrated in front of family and friends and recognized for a character quality they have demonstrated throughout their years at TCA.
 

Uniform Desecration (Decoration) Day

On their last day of senior year, our seniors are able to decorate their uniforms to highlight they universities they will be attending.
